Why Do You Need S Curve Reverse?

When the total calorie intake exceeds the sum of basal metabolism and exercise metabolism, fat accumulation is likely to occur. The thighs, hips, and abdomen are common fat storage areas. Many people become overweight as they age or reduce their physi- cal activity, causing a decline in metabolism and leading to fat accumulation. Among these areas, the abdominal muscles have a weaker resistance to fat accumulation, making the abdomen more prone to fat accumulation.

Swedish scholar Bjorntorp first proposed the concept of abdominal obesity and believed that abdominal fat accumulation is more likely to cause abnormal blood lipids, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hyperglycemia, hypertension, hyperuricemia, and damage to the internal organs compared to fat accumulation in the hips

Therefore, people with a big belly should not take abdominal obesity lightly. A bulging belly is a sign of potential danger and ignoring it can lead to chronic diseases in the future!

90% of people areunaware that excess abdominal fat poses a greater health risk than overall obesity!

How do I know if I have excessive visceral fat?

1. Waist circumference

In general, a waist circumference greater than 90 cm for men or 80 cm for women may indicate a risk of excess visceral fat.

2. Waist-to-hip ratio

This can be measured by waist size divided by the hip size. Method: Standing straight and lightly inhaling while using a measuring tape to measure the waist above the navel and the hips at the most protruding point. A waist-to-hip ratio great- er than 0.9 for men or 0.8 for women indicates a high risk of excess visceral fat.

3. Subcutaneous fat around the waist and abdomen

Pinch test for subcutaneous fat: Pinching more than 2 cm of skin around the navel may indicate accumulation of subcutaneous fat. No pinchable fat may indicate accumulation of fat in the internal organs.
